A status marked released needs a destination check. If Millard County supplied the record, call the jail for the actual date and time, release type, and receiving agency. Utah's VINE layer reports more than final prison release. UDC lists prison release, escape and return, death, and a parole-release-date notice 30 days before release. It also lists moves to county jails, between Utah's prison sites, and to community correctional centers. For a local Millard result, call the Millard County Jail at 435-743-5302. Ask about the exact booking, actual release date and time, recorded release type, and destination. “Not here” is incomplete. The person may have gone home, to UDC, to another jail, to USMS, or to ICE. A focused GRAMA request can seek the releasable booking and custody record when a phone answer is limited.
For a state result, use the UDC Offender Search and Board decisions. The UDC location distinguishes prison placement, parole, and probation. The Board order supplies the effective date and may show a later rescission, warrant, revocation, or termination. If the person is fully discharged, the public UDC result may disappear because that search is limited to current supervision.
Use the court docket to explain the local legal event. Millard cases may be in East or West Justice Court, while felonies and class A misdemeanors go through Fourth District Court. A court order can authorize release, but it is not the jail's completed timestamp. Two layers are stronger than one: the custody event plus the relevant court or supervision record.
